Any link or web site that can access for activation energy for assembly related defects (lifted bond, broken wire, die crack, etc.) to compute for AF ?
Thanks, |

hi, i think activation energies only apply to temperature-accelerated failure mechanisms and not defects. so for example, your defect is lifted ball, you should know what fmech caused it, like, excessive intermetallic growth? corrosion? then you can look for activation energy values based on the fmech. if fmech is not temp-related, like mechanical overstress, then activation energy is not needed because you can't use arhennius equation for that. us another model to compute for af.
