Hello folks,
Can anyone tell me the typically schematics and bias resistor value for HAST? Is there any different between power pins and contral&I/O pins?
Thanks,

Hi Richard,
The values of the bias resistors used in HAST depend on the biasing reqts of the device, just like burn-in. When we do HAST on our devices, we usually put it in normal static operating bias. We actually try to eliminate all resistors that we can eliminate from the HAST board because these can fail during HAST too. For example, we have HAST boards with no resistors at all (used in op amps). If a resistor is really needed, then the value is chosen based on what the device needs for dissipation, but the best grade (most reliable) resistor must be chosen.
