| 2005 Sea Games is hosted by Philippines, but no basketball??!!?? Why? Again because of Pinoy disunity. BAP and POC can't agree. Once again personal interests of leaders defeat national interest. Everyone associated with BAP must be banned for life from all basketball activities!!! |

Who needs basketball? Thanks to private funding, we still emerged champions anyway - first time ever in SEA games. Just goes to show what Pinoys can do if they help each other...and if they are not relying on government.
