Is a 2% yearly salary increase the image you want to project ?

more than that? 2% increase is not sufficient but its also a great projection if we could put a high contribution to increase our area of work.

better off would mean a lot. i really dont know that much as to your life there compared to the philippines but maybe in terms of atmosphere and the fact that there is no place like home, i would say i am better off at peace and comfortable with where i am now here in the philippines.

Guys, this website is accessible around the globe, nababasa ng kahit sinong nasyonalidad. Paano kung mabasa ito ng mga would be employer nyo, whether overseas o dito. Ano na lang ang image nating i-pinoproject sa ating mga forum as a pilipino.

Baka, pwede mag-project naman tayo ng magandang imahen ng Pilipinas at pilipino engineer.

Sa palagay ko maganda ang intensyon ng gumawa ng site na ito. Hindi ito ginawa para mga rants and complaints natin.

If we have issues with our company and boss, then we should bring it up to them. Sa tingin nyo ba, makakatulong ba pag i-pi-nost nyo dito yung gripes nyo sa boss nyo? May magagawa ba ang site na ito para mag-ka-increase ka.

Let's project a good image of a pilipino engineer!!!

guest i would like to agree with you. whether we are in the semicon group or whatever company lets remember that Filipino engineers are greatly skilled thus we need to utilized our potentials to further enhance improvement in where we are.

i am and will always be proud being an engineer whether you are in the process area, quality or manufacturing, engineers manages and handles assigned work competitively.

Are good and highly skilled Filipino engineers deserving of a 1.7%(to be exact) yearly salary increase just because he/she is working in his own country?

This is not whether I'm angry with my boss or whether or not I'm in call centeR. Its just a question folks. It should be nothing to you if you are a manager, but it should be a thought provoking question if you are a highly skilled Filipino engineer.

Good engineers deserve better than 1.7% annual increase. Bad engineers deserve nothing at all. So if you're a good engineer, leave your company instead of complaining about the 1.7% increase.

If you can't find a job in another company that gives a better increase, then think twice before complaining - maybe you're really not 'good enough' and will just be stuck in the company that you hate so much forever ...a lose-lose situation if you ask me.

Tama! If you think you are good, apply somewhere else where you think you can get what your worth. if you think you are good, think also there is someone better. Baka naman kaya ka binigyan ng 1.7% increase dahil gusto ka nang palayasin ng boss, di lang nya masabi sa yo dahil may mga labor laws tayo - hinihintay nya ang initiative mo na magresign ka na.

Anyway, sana nga we project nga a good image of our country.

Paano magtatayo ang mga bagong company sa Pinas pag nakitang reklamador ang mga Noypi. Maswerte nga tayo may job security tayo, sa China may reklamador kaya dun? Baka pagnagreklamo ka, your fired ang sagot sa yo!

you are right. we should consider that our countries' biggest is us engineers and it just so unfortunate that others abuse instead of helping our country. we are suppose to help our economy improve and not put it down. remember even if how much you are earning it would never compensate being in your own country. are we here for material things only?

i always believe that once you just do good to where you are then nothing could compensate to the satisfaction and fulfillment that we could have. lets learn to be mature now in handling our career. balance financial with the joy of working.
