a fool and his money r soon parted. i bought some stocks when it was rising last week, then TI announced dat it didn't meet its expectations. nw I just hv 75% of my money , even if it wasn't TI that i bought. ha-ha-ha...life's unfair.

The last time I looked, the chip stocks are rising again. My advice therefore is for you to just play a little waiting game. BTW, in case you haven't noticed yet, there's a new link to CNN Money on SFE's homepage, for your convenience in checking stock prices.

Oops... sorry, Maximus, pero mukhang bumaba ulit yung karamihan ng mga tech stocks kagabi. I guess you'll have to wait a little longer to make money.

Amkor is really doing pretty well these past few months. Last year or early this year it was just hovering around 2-3 dollars. Now it's at about $12. That's 4X-6X of your investment!

BTW, just a little caution - nobody can predict how stocks will perform, so nobody should buy stocks on the basis of what's posted in this forum, or in any forum for that matter.

I would be cautious on semicon equities at this time. The last two quarters have been uphill and I think its peaking.
