| I'm a process engineer assigned at BE area. Could anybody help provide standard stand-off and coplanarity measurement procedure? I'm still new at TFS, so I think, i'll be needing a lot of tips from you guys. |

You can use the comparator to measure stand-off and coplanarity. Hopefully, you know the definition of stand-off and coplanarity so that you could measure it.
There are also automated machine that measure this specially after trim, form and singulation (as part of process monitoring) - one of which is the Augustech lead inspection system. |

Mr. Miguel,
For coplanarity standard, you may want to see JEDEC JESD22-B108A (Coplanarity Test for SMD). |

It would be best using RVSI machine to measure coplanarity of package. Gull Wing pkg (like TQFP) are usually placed on trays on which the leads are "hanging". This machine then scans the leads of the package and compares its planarity as if the whole set of leads are sitting on a plane. I believe the maximum coplanarity allowed on a TQFP pkg is within 2-3mil range.
