| Is it ok to receive higher salary because you are doing your best and yet the benifactor of good result of your job is another country or you are receiving industry standard salary in the Philippines but you're helping your country men to have job security? |

Depends on your priorities: yourself / your family or your countrymen. |

how about you ? what is your priority? I'll apreciate your input....this is also a form of survey on how are the engineers in Philippines assigned their priorities.....thanks.
who knows , i might recommend and hire some people with job match, mind set and salary match in the future ...the outlook in semicon now is very bright....that's why there are lots of hiring. |

If you ask me, while I am single, the top priority is myself. I will learn and contribute to my work to succeed. With a family, I will tend to learn much to succeed but the need to earn much to support the family will be the top priority. But after being successful, I want to share all the learnings to my countrymen.
It would be like the mindset of the Koreans. They sent all their professionals outside of their country to learn and after learning, they went back to their country and apply those learnings to help their country become successful. By the way, Philippines is a very nice place. |

| I agree with you, Jarod. The choice to either work in other country or work here in our country(PH) really depends on your status. Philippines is a nice place to live in...There's no place like home. I'm a family man..so to support the needs of my family i have to earn more than what is the industry's standard salary in the Philippines semicon industry...im now working abroad as Process Engineer. |
