Tata,

There are many ways to delayer a die. It's not safe to assume that what works for us will work for you because we have different die layer characteristics (composition and thickness).

Try to check wih your company if there's a corporate standard that defines the recipes for delayering your dice. If there's none, then you need to qualify your own delayering process by trying out different chemicals, temp, and duration for each layer. Do this until you get what will work best for you.

By the way, if you don't have corp specs on delayering, then maybe you also don't have an RIE or plasma etcher yet. These are important delayering eqpt., so getting one that suits your needs will also be imperative if you want to do serious delayering.

As a starting point and guideline, you can start with this article: http://www.semiconfareast.com/delayering.htm
