hi,

i'm looking for a relatively cheap alternative for a thermostream (temperature forcing system). i have to bench test some parts at 125C but the unavailability of a thermostream at this time is keeping me from proceeding. if any one knows of any alternative, please respond. i'm all ears.

thanks

Have you tried a hair dryer or a heating gun? Maybe you just need to let it heat for sometime using the hair dyer.

Hi Blitzkreig,

Do u have an FA lab with a probing station? Its possible they have a thermojogger for heating up a platen that holds the FA sample for analysis at high temp. You can use this for bench testing at high temp.

blitzkrieg,

You can use heater element inside a metalic tube that feed by CDA. But caution should take consider, coz, this may heat up above your need. So you have to create a temperature sensor with closed loop control over the supply of the heater element.

Blow dryer will introduce noise that will distort your result, that's why we prohibit the use of these kind during test.

Hope will help.
