 |
| My team is running the subcon operations and engg of our corporate. This means that we run the corporate subcon business, we select and qual subcon sites, we load them up, we do quality audit, all those activities being driven from within the Philippines.
I believe we are not the only company doing the same thing, because it makes sense that running a subcon should be done where most of the semicon mfg subcons are located at (e.g. ASE TWN, AMKOR PHL/KOR, OSE TWN, CHIPMOS TWN, etc.). We are thinking of setting up a formal or informal organization for those running subcon management in the phils, so that we can learn and benchmark from each other. I will be happy to hear from anybody interested. My email id is [email protected] |
