| In three months we will have our national elections. We must choose our next president well - we can not afford a slip-up on this one. A firm grasp of the economic intricacies that govern the global economy should be a basic requirement of this next leader.
Look at what the good leaders of Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand have done and are doing for their countries. Do we expect to be able to compete with our neighbors if we'll elect another president based merely on popularity? I guess not. Our semiconductor industry needs a little help from the government. Last year the global semicon industry grew significantly, yet the local semicon industry has little to show for it. Our semicon industry, it therefore seems, is not growing as fast as those of other players. The million-dollar question now is: who among the candidates can help the local semicon industry most? Let's help each other make an intelligent vote by discussing this issue very well. EE |

| I heard SEIPI is against Roco because he is very nationalistic. They said he might make decisions against multinational companies like semicon companies. Is this true? So who is SEIPI's candidate then? FPJ? Because he is an American?

(LOL- just kidding.) i am for gma - for continuity. she's doing well but encountering difficulties because of politics in the country. roco is ok too but the guy's got no machinery. let's go for gma to prevent fpj's win. shy guy |

Roco is very winnable. There are still 40% who have not yet chosen their prez as of this writing. GMA and FPJ are at 30%, while Roco is at 20%. It's very possible for the undecided to go to Roco if we all campaign for him. FARel Engr |

| Mga people, i'm assuming most of you here came from the semicon. Isa lang ang tanong ko sa inyo.
Papayag ba kayo na yung boss nyo ay mahina mentally... gawa karamihan sa mga boss namin sa company namin... utusan lang ng mga bigger bosses.... walang sariling pamamaraan... hindi buo ang loob... hindi alam kung paano gumawa ng test method... pinapasukat kami ng PDA... tuta lang ng mga nasa taas... pati sweldo namin walang sariling pinanindigan. --- GUSTO NYO BA ANG PRESIDENTE NA GANITO? Yung mga naghahari ngayon ay yung mga magaling sa showbiz, kahit hindi mautak. Hindi lang sa pulitika, pati na rin sa semicon. Kung titingnan mo, maraming nasa taas na magaling lang sa pagsipsip, showbiz na showbiz ikanga. Pero pag dating sa totoong problem solving sa yo rin aasa. So kung galit kayo sa mga taong ganito - iboto natin yung matalinong prisidinti. Sori na lang tayo, hindi ibinoboto ang mga boss natin. Kaya kung mala-FPJ ang boss nyo, mag-showbiz na rin kayo! OO nga naman. Sana we elect our boss. The problem is hindi. Sana nga mag showbiz nalang kami, maka showbiz ang boss namin, pati big boss namin, kahit kwentong bading pinapatulan! ayyyy... ano ba yan! ang masama pa, may kabit pa daw si big boss namin!!!! double blade pala. buti pa siguro kayo, your boss is mentally capable, in our case case, our boss is very sucksuckable. tsk tsk.
