The Philippine National Police (PNP) need a lesson on Standardize, Do, Check, Act (SDCA) ASAP! They just let a high-profile indon terrorist get away (what's his name?). What a big embarassment to GMA and Filipinos! And this happened after Abu Sayyaf Janjalani, Drug Lord Tan, and Pentagon terrorist Marohombsar escaped too from Camp Crame which is the headquarters of PNP. In the semicon industry, the same mistake will not happen twice because of SDCA.

Hi TQM Master,

I think the name you're looking for is Al Ghozi. And they don't need SDCA to keep high-profile terrorists inside their cells. They just need to do their work.

Thanks and keep on posting!!!

Yes! TQM doesn't always work. It's better to promote loyalty at times like this.

Oo nga, overheard, sabi nga ng isang respected collegue "bakit TQM agad? tanungin nyo muna yung operator!" or in this case, yung mga jailguards at whoever is resposible.

when tqm was implemented there --- two important things were considered by pnp.
1. cost reduction - maintaining jail and prisons are costly, that's why the jail/locks/security system were never upgraded, and letting go of the prisons is another cost reduction program.
2. return of investment - by letting go of them, ROI is fast and twice - first when they let go, and second when they recapture them.

tqm at its best at pnp!!!

tapos ang maganda pa nyan, meron din silang permanent corrective action- dedo yung Edris nung nahuli! meron ding 8th step sa 8D - congratulate the team! kaya mali si tqm master. mas advanced pa ang pnp sa tqm kesa semicon!

Al-Ghozi is dead. He was gunned down today. Nothing beats this preventive action! I guess the PNP just proved TQM Master wrong. The PNP really know their TQM.
